Mark SaltDoctors Mark and Celeste Salt both treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal injuries, including neck pain, headaches, low back pain, wrist pain, and other injuries to the joints of the body, such as the foot, knee, and shoulder joints.

Both doctors specialize in worker's compensation and personal injury (car accident) cases, and are listed as providers on most insurance plans. A massage therapist is on staff to assist in the overall treatment of the patient.

About Doctor and Staff:

Dr. Mark Salt has been practicing Chiropractic for seven years, graduating from Palmer Chiropractic College-West in San Jose, California. Dr. Salt also taught for the Sweetwater School District for two years, teaching a course to high school students and adults, which included the study of anatomy, nutrition, emergency procedures, and taping/bracing.

Dr. Mark Salt has been a member of the Bonita Optimist Club for four years and has served on the board of directors for the club. He currently has a seat on the board of directors for the San Diego chapter of the California Chiropractic Association, serving in his second year. Dr. Salt is also the director of the Mentor's Club, a meeting designed to assist new Chiropractors in San Diego County.

Dr. Celeste Salt has been in private practice for five years. She graduated and holds a Doctorate in Chiropractic from the Palmer College of Chiropractic West, San Jose. A native of Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr. Salt relocated to Vancouver, Canada, in 1979 and completed three years of Kinesiology study at Simon Fraser University. Thereafter, she moved again to San Jose, California and began her studies in Chiropractic. There, she met her future husband, Mark Salt, D.C., who also attended Palmer College of Chiropractic-West, San Jose. Doctors Celeste and Mark Salt then moved to San Diego County in 1995, married one year later and opened Salt Family Chiropractic in the heart of Chula Vista.

The Salts are now expecting their first child in the Spring of 2001. Celeste has also enjoyed her new life as a chiropractor and as a wife. And she enjoys serving her community as a member of the Kiwanis Club of Bonita for the past three years.

Driving Directions:

From I-5, take the E Street offramp. Drive east and one block past Third Street, turn right on Church Street. Salt Family Chiropractic is on the right in a two-story professional building. There is metered parking nearby.
